Afaf Shawwa

Afaf Shawwa is a dynamic communications professional with in-depth understanding of organizational learning and development needs. She has over a decade’s experience custom designing and delivering outstanding training that is engaging and effective. Through seminars and one-on-one coaching, she has worked with professionals ranging from sales associates to company executives throughout the MENA region and Europe.

As a management and human capital consultant, Afaf has helped companies and not-for profit organizations in the US, Europe and MENA region develop their talent and improve their communication approaches—be they internal or external, written or oral—. 

A veteran public speaker who is fluent in English and Arabic, Afaf speaks on communications topics at international conferences and has hosted a regional Tedx conference (where she also coached the speakers). As a professional actor who has appeared on stage and in films internationally, she often incorporates performance techniques into her communication skills training's. She has taught Oral Communication at the Lebanese American University. 

Afaf holds a Masters degree (honors) in Speech & Interpersonal Communication from New York University (US) and a Bachelors degree (honors) in International Relations from Tufts University (US).
