As the chairperson of Cornerstone Development (ranked the Top Real Estate Company in the Middle East by Forbes in 2017) he was instrumental in the real estate development and contracting of many projects including one of the largest in Lebanon, District//S, a microcosm of the city in the heart of Beirut. At the height of green living, this remarkable community meets LEED for Neighborhood Development standards and is the first sustainable city in the Middle East and entire Mediterranean Basin. Earning global recognition by winning the Urban Design Group’s Francis Tibbalds Prize for the Best Practice Project and gaining a regional reputation after winning the two top prizes at the 2014 Real Estate Awards (Leading Design & Architecture and Most Eco-Friendly & Sustainable Project), District//S highlights Anthony’s pioneering drive. A firm believer in doing business by contributing to the good of the community and the environment, Anthony is engaged in impact investment for renewable energy and bringing electricity to rural areas.
