Daymond John is a globally recognized entrepreneur, investor, and motivational speaker, best known as a star of ABC’s Shark Tank and the visionary founder of the iconic fashion brand FUBU. As the CEO of The Shark Group, he has helped countless businesses scale through innovative marketing strategies and brand partnerships.
Starting his journey with a $100,000 mortgage on his mother’s house, John built FUBU into a billion-dollar brand, revolutionizing the streetwear industry. His expertise in branding and marketing has earned him numerous accolades, including the Brandweek Marketer of the Year and Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year.
Appointed by former President Barack Obama as a Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship, John is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of business leaders. He is also a New York Times best-selling author, with six books, including The Power of Broke, Rise and Grind, and Powershift. His most recent book, Little Daymond Learns to Earn, introduces financial literacy to children in an engaging way.
