Biography
Joe Hart is the President and CEO at Dale Carnegie Training, the most experienced training organization in the world, celebrating 110 years since its founding with operations in 75 countries and having provided training to tens of millions of people globally. Early in his tenure as CEO, Hart had to adeptly navigate the company through an unforeseen global pandemic.
During the Covid 19 pandemic, Hart led a lightning fast change of the business model shifting business activities from almost exclusively in-person trainings to repositioning the business to generate 95% of its revenue online. Hart’s leadership set a pivotal example for the dozens of franchisee owners and has given Dale Carnegie Training the footing to excel for the next 100 years.
Hart is a contributor to Newsweek and Rolling Stone, a popular speaker, and author of the upcoming book, “Take Command,” due out in Fall of 2022 with Simon and Schuster. The book is named after the Top 50 ranked Leadership and Management Podcast Joe hosts, “Take Command: A Dale Carnegie Podcast,” which has included guests ranging from Fortune 500 CEOs to Hall of Fame athletes and fast
growing company CEOs.
The legacy of Dale Carnegie holds special meaning to Joe. He attributes much of his success in business to the Dale Carnegie training he had early in his career. Hart first took the Dale Carnegie Course 20 years ago when he was a successful attorney, which ultimately led him to leave a thriving legal and real estate career and to start his first business.
As a Dale Carnegie graduate himself, Hart’s first business, InfoAlly, provided online programs to support the Dale Carnegie, Leadership Training for Managers, and Sales Advantage Courses. Hart worked closely with the company as a strategic partner for nearly 10 years. Hart sold InfoAlly and helped start a new company, Asset Health, where he served as the company’s president until joining Dale Carnegie.
Asset Health is a fast-growing health technology company that helps train employees to be healthier people and better consumers of healthcare. The company works with numerous Fortune 1000 and major health system clients.
Hart holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Michigan and a law degree from
Wayne State University Law School.
