Biography
Mariam Farag is a global business leader, media strategist, humanitarian, and international keynote speaker known for her mission to humanize brands and amplify impact through purpose-driven communication.
As the Founder of Humanizing Brands, Mariam helps organizations design sustainable, inclusive, and socially responsible strategies that connect deeply with audiences and communities worldwide. Her work bridges the worlds of media, corporate strategy, and humanitarian advocacy—transforming brand narratives into movements that inspire real change.
Before founding her consultancy, Mariam spent years leading one of the Middle East’s most influential media networks, MBC Group, where she served as the Founding Head of Brand Reputation, Communications & Social Impact. There, she pioneered strategic partnerships and launched landmark CSR campaigns, including a Ramadan initiative supporting refugees that reached over 25 million viewers across the region.
Her career has also included collaborations with UNICEF, SOS Children’s Villages, and other global NGOs, driving youth empowerment, education, and community development initiatives. In recognition of her impact, Mariam received the Humanitarian of the Year Award at the C3 Summit during the UN General Assembly in New York City.
A true global citizen, Mariam has lived, worked, and studied across multiple continents. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science (International Relations) and a Master’s in International Relations and Political Theory.
Today, Mariam is a sought-after speaker and thought leader at international forums such as TEDx, where she delivers inspiring talks on tech for good, women’s empowerment, sustainability, and youth leadership.
