Michael is both a practicing executive and coach with degrees from three U.S. Universities – B.S., MBA, and post-MBA Certificate in Advanced Management Studies. His executive experience allows a unique perspective and practical coaching insights as one who has
“been there and done that.” Michael was the Chief Talent & Leadership Development Officer, Executive Committee member Board Advisor
and NRC Member for three Boards for Al Faisaliah Group, a private investment holding company owned by members of the Royal Family
in Saudi Arabia. Previously, Michael was the Group Vice President for Talent & Leadership Development for Emirates Telecommunications
Corporation (Etisalat) where he was responsible for the development and succession management of the company’s subsidiary CEO’s, Board Directors, the entire C-Suite of executives VPs and the High-Potential Leadership Program. He was an Advisory Board member for the Etisalat Academy and a member of the Global HR Strategy Committee.
Michael is currently a Talent and Leadership Advisor with Saudi Telecom where he once managed a team of internal leadership coaches
and external coaching firms. His management of the internal coaching team resulted in STC being awarded the International Coaching
Federation’s prestigious Prism Award as one of the “Top Five Coaching Organizations” globally. At STC, Mike is also recognized for
his discerning recommendations with executive appointments, coaching leadership teams, Hi-Potentials, and facilitating succession management processes.
Michael coaches and has coached Board Directors, CEOs and CXOs, High-Potential leaders and over 300 McKinsey consultants around the world by offering practical and candid insights and practical actionable solutions. He has authored articles in “Chief Learning Officer,” “CEO Middle East,” and “Talent Magazine.” Michael is the author of three books, How To Think Like A CEO and Act Like a Leader (2008), which was featured on Fox Morning News and The Greatest Leader He Ever Saw (2016), about character-based leadership.
