Prof Colin Coulson-Thomas is the President of the Institute of Management Services and the Director-General of IOD India, UK, and Europe. A distinguished global leader, he heads an International Governance Initiative and is an experienced chairman of award-winning companies and a vision holder for successful transformation programs.
He has a remarkable track record of helping directors in over 40 countries improve director, board, and corporate performance. His career includes high-level public appointments at local, regional, and national levels, alongside prestigious professorial roles spanning Europe, North and South America, Africa, the Middle East, India, and China.
Currently, Dr. Coulson-Thomas serves as an Honorary Professor at the Aston India Centre of Aston University and at Lincoln International Business School. His academic foundation is world-class, having been educated at the LSE, London Business School, and the Universities of Chicago, Southern California, and Westminster. Notably, he obtained first-place prizes in the final exams of three distinct professions.
A prolific thought leader, he has authored over 70 books and reports and published approximately 2,000 articles. His work is dedicated to elevating the standards of corporate governance, strategic leadership, and organizational performance on a global scale.
