Sally Mousa

She studied fashion designing and wanted to be a fashion designer. As happens in life many times, she realized her true calling was to empower women who were from her kind of ethnic background and needed to be heard. So, she became their voice as a radio presenter on Voice of Islam, a program on Sydney radio station. She was a senior presenter and content producer of a weekly family radio show, “Unity in the Community”.

Sally has been nominated for the The Arab Woman Awards UAE 2020, under the patronage of HE Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak al Nahyan in partnership with UN Women.

Now in the Middle East for over a decade, Sally has been a presenter and producer on some of the region’s top platforms and was a finalist for the Arab Woman Awards UAE 2020. Most recently she was head-hunted to launch Sharjah’s first English Radio Station where she created, presented and produced highly acclaimed shows including Life Beats whose stories inspire a global audience.
