Biography
Tom Coleman is a renowned Sleep and Health Consultant, a passionate health advocate, and a recognized authority on workplace wellbeing. With a unique and powerful blend of expertise and over 15 years of experience, Tom has become a highly sought-after keynote speaker and wellbeing consultant, partnering with elite athletes, global multinationals, and government organizations to drive meaningful change.
Tom’s journey began in 2009 when he qualified as a Health Scientist, followed by a degree in Health Promotion and Public Health. Early in his career, Tom worked with Special Olympics and taught Health Science at Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo in Spain in 2012. Returning to Ireland, he established a Nutritional Consultancy Business in 2013, quickly building a reputation for delivering exceptional results.
Tom’s relentless pursuit of excellence led him to recognize the profound impact of sleep on recovery in 2014, igniting his passion for the field. Working alongside Fatigue Science, the world’s leading wearable technology company, he analysed sleep and mental fatigue levels in elite athletes. This groundbreaking technology, now utilized by NASA and Harvard, laid the foundation for Tom’s specialization in sleep science and its application in performance enhancement.
As his expertise evolved, Tom transitioned to the corporate sector, where he applied his knowledge to address critical challenges such as shift work, stress management, and employee health. His reputation for excellence has since seen him collaborate with some of the world’s largest organizations, including 9 of the top 10 pharmaceutical companies, Coca-Cola, MSD, and Pfizer, as well as providing insights to government bodies and is a consultant to AN Garda Siochana -Irish National Police Force.
