Yasin Kasirga is a decarbonization leader and keynote speaker who brings over 20 years of hands-on energy project delivery to every stage. Having built over 11 gigawatts of power infrastructure across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, including more than 25 wind farms, he is one of the few energy-transition voices who speaks from inside the work rather than from the sidelines.
As a former Senior Advisor to the COP28 Presidency, Yasin contributed to the landmark global pledge to triple renewable energy capacity by 2030. Today he leads a carbon solutions business across the region, helping industry and power producers chart a credible path to net zero. His career spans leadership roles in Sales, Market Development, and execution of complex hybrid and renewable energy projects.
What sets Yasin apart is translation. He takes the most complex parts of the energy transition including the technology, the economics, and the hard trade-offs and makes them clear and actionable for any audience, from boardrooms to industry summits. He has spoken at COP28, COP29, the World Future Energy Summit, ADIPEC, Middle East Energy, and the Misk Global Forum.
Yasin holds an Executive MBA and Bachelors degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from Middle East Technical University. He is a graduate of GE premier leadership development program (XLP) and the Dubai Future Foundation Disruptive Leaders Program (FEEL). He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at UCAM university on sustainability and stakeholder impact on the path to net zero.
